Back in 2018 i took a trip out to Italy to find some wines to bring back to the United States. Just a few wines can boast such a profound connection with their land, so much that it takes the name of the town itself: Barolo. Brunello tasting notes, The Transparent ruby color, Shaded with Orange hints and its ethereal bouquet, full of red fruits and Specific aromas bound to the land such as hazelnuts, leaves and truffle. On the Palate it is elegant and measured, with tannins that give structure and persistence intertwining with delicious notes of licorice and coffee.
Super Tuscan tasting notes this Cru is made in a special vineyard, called Poggiogallo. The Blend of 34% Sangiovese, 33% Merlot and 33% Syrah confer confer color, softness and structure to this fine wine. The Bouquet is sour black cherry jam. Warm and rich in the mouth, with expressive tannins and smooth hints of vanilla. The aromas of black pepper, coffee, dark chocolate and leather derive from the long aging tie in the wood. The result is pure emotion.
